Capturing the love story of Lauren and Michael during their engagement session in San Diego was so fun. We opted for the charm of the beach, with a creative twist envisioning the sun-soaked coasts of San Diego. Lauren had a specific vision – a blend of cinematic, vintage, and grainy aesthetics – all to be brought to life during that golden hour session.
Our chosen beach offered a diverse backdrop, from sandy expanses to grassy knolls and even a few rugged cliffs. These elements were carefully selected to weave a nuanced narrative, with each scene contributing to the unfolding tale of Lauren and Michael’s life before marriage. Lauren’s artistic direction, aimed at infusing a vintage, film-like vision, perfectly complemented the warm radiance of the golden hour, creating a visual symphony of love and nostalgia.
Strategic use of dust overlays added an enchanting touch, enhancing the cinematic ambiance envisioned by Lauren. These subtle touches elevated the visual narrative, transforming the engagement session into more of a vintage feeling.
As the golden hour gracefully transitioned into twilight, we began to move to the water for blue hour. Overall this San Diego beach engagement session was so fun to creative with these two and create memories that will be cherished forever.
