A San Diego, California Maternity Session that consisted of two locations a flower field and a cliff side location. Maternity sessions are a true celebration of life, and photos that you will have forever to remember this special time in your life. There are always different options of locations and vibes for maternity sessions. From in studio sessions, to floral backdrops and a more vintage feeling, to full on nature vibes. For this session, Liz was 30 weeks pregnant and wanted some outdoor, nature maternity photos done. She is also a photographer and we worked together to make her vision come to life. I discovered a new flower field in Carlsbad and wanted to take photos there, so when Liz inquired with me and told me her vision, I knew this was the perfect place for us to shoot! We decided on doing two different outfits, one in a flowy dress and another outfit to show off her bump. We also decided on two different locations, one in a flower field and the other cliffside. The sun was in and out during our session and we ended up getting some clouds during golden hour which made for more moodier vibe, which Liz loved! Overall, this dreamy nature inspired maternity session was one for the books and has me so inspired to do maternity sessions in the future!
