A dreamy, vintage inspired engagement session at the Art Institute of Chicago. I’m still pinching myself that this modern dream of an engagement session happened! I am a big believer in choosing a location that feels like you.
When choosing your engagement session location, I highly recommend to all my couples to have their engagement photos either at a place where you can do an activity you love or a place that you feel comfortable in! Dahlia + Hitch’s love for art created the basis for choosing their location for their engagement session at the Art Institute of Chicago, and boy was it a dream!
Their photos feel like a timeless romance, and I found constant inspiration at every corner of this museum. From their chemistry in front of the camera to Dahlia’s bow she put on midway through the session to the architecture of the museum and the artwork in it. My goal with these two was to capture the art as an expression of their relationship in their photos, and it was truly a modern, vintage dream!
