This California Flower Field Engagement Session was a dream come true for me. Meranda and I met back in 2020 when we both lived in Los Angeles. She actually modeled for my first ever styled shoot I did in my photo career. When Meranda reached out I knew I had to take their engagement session and do something unique. Meranda and Jojo have been together for seven years and got engaged in Hawaii (what a dream!) in December. She saw that I was in San Diego and reached out to schedule their engagement session. While we were chatting about what they envisioned for their engagement session, she told me she defientely wanted somewhere unique and different from the typical San Diego engagement shoot. We both fell in love with the idea of taking their photos in a flower field in San Diego.
This was their first photoshoot together, but you would never know it by the photos! A big part of my work is posing and making my couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. By the end of our session, you will not even know I am there! I want my couples to feel like they are at home, in a comfortable setting, hanging out with each other for a little sunset date and they just happen to get some photos out of it. I have all the directions and prompts to guide you during your session, not to worry! Looking back at Miranda and Jojo’s California flower field engagement session, you would never be able to tell that they have never been in front of a camera before. So happy to have captured this love story and all the others I have the privilege of capturing.
