This creative library couple session in Chicago was a storyteller’s dream. Alex and Brittany are not only the sweetest couple, but they also happen to be photographers as well. While this wasn’t our first time creating together, it was an incredibly special and unique experience nonetheless!
We spent lots of time dreaming up all the details for our library couple session in Chicago, including outfits, locations, and props. For this session, we scouted a beautiful library at Northwestern University in Evanston. I was able to test out my new Sony gear while also experimenting with a nostalgic dream filter for a vintage vibe. This filter has been so fun to play with at sessions, and it’s from Prism Lens FX.
We experimented with different light, angles, and poses throughout the session. I love to work with my couples from a storytelling approach and lean into things that my couples do naturally! This helps my couples feel more at ease and capture my couples in their element.
Brittany left the sweetest review of her time with me: “These are so beautiful Anissa!! We CHERISH this time together and your art.”
