When Brittany and Eddie reached out about documenting their love story, a Sunset Cliffs Anniversary Session felt like the perfect fit. This wasn’t just any milestone, they were celebrating a whole decade together, and every detail of this shoot reflected exactly that!
We headed to Sunset Cliffs during golden hour, and honestly? The light did not disappoint. Most people come here for the dramatic cliffs and sweeping ocean views (and yes, we absolutely used those), but what I was most excited about was the unexpected lushness that’s been showing up lately. All the recent rain has left the cliffs absolutely covered in greenery; deep, saturated greens bursting against the warm golden tones of the sky. It made for a backdrop that felt almost otherworldly.
And because this session deserved something a little extra, Brittany and Eddie opted for a roll of film. There’s something about film that captures feeling in a way that’s hard to explain — a warmth, a softness, a sense that the moment is real and lived-in. It was the perfect choice for a couple with ten years of beautiful moments behind them.
