CALLING ALL ENGAGED COUPLES!

Not sure what to wear for your engagement session? Well you’re certainly not alone! Your engagement photos are very important ~ they will be used for save-the-dates, put in photo albums, hung on your wall, and shared with friends & family. So of course you want to make sure you look and feel your very best! That’s why I put together a list of tips on what to wear for your engagement photos:

WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES!

If you’re not comfortable, it will be noticeable in photos. Make sure not only to wear comfortable clothes for your engagement photos, but also comfortable shoes (especially if you plan to do lots of walking)!

CHOOSE CLOTHES TO COMPLIMENT YOUR LOCATION!

If you’re taking photos on a beach, it may make sense to wear more boho-styled clothes. On the other hand, a downtown engagement session may entail high-heels and a tie to fit the vibe.

CHOOSE NEUTRAL COLORS!

Not only do neutral colors photograph better, but they will also help you stand out more in photos. Stripes and patterns can take the focus away from your faces, and even clash with the background in some cases.

COORDINATE WITH EACH OTHER!

Although you don’t want to match, make sure to look for complementary colors and solid prints!
